All of the can crushers I have had in the past have been cheaply made that I had to be careful and pull exactly straight down on them or I would bend the crusher instead of the can. Not this unit. It is built like a tank. It looks big enough for crushing the Fosters oil cans. I haven't tried it on plastic bottles yet but it looks like it would do a great job. Just be sure you mount this bad boy to a wall stud.
